Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Hardik Pandya motivated young and budding cricketers ahead of the team's clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Friday, April 04. The all-rounder was seen giving a pep talk to MI's young players, including Ashwani Kumar, Vignesh Puthur, and Satyanarayana Raju. All three players made their MI debuts in the ongoing IPL 2025 season.
While Puthur was impressive in his first game against CSK, picking three wickets, Ashwani Kumar had a dream debut against KKR, picking up four wickets. Meanwhile, Raju showed great composure against the same opponents in the death overs. In a video shared by MI on their social media account, Pandya said to young players to put in the hard yards but not be too worried about the results.
The MI skipper further stated that they never doubt themselves, since they have reached this level by sheer hard work and persistence. Hardik Pandya also stressed the importance of not losing sleep over one bad outing, as comebacks are always greater than setbacks. All the young and budding players of MI were keenly listening to this powerful and motivational speech of Pandya.

Hardik Pandya-led MI look to keep winning momentum going against LSG
MI, who started the tournament on a sedate note, have bounced back in style by comprehensively beating KKR by eight wickets. Despite star pacer Jasprit Bumrah's absence, MI managed to bundle out a powerful-looking KKR batting lineup for just 116 runs. As usual, the MI scouting team has unearthed two gems of players in Puthur and Ashwani Kumar. The Hardik Pandya-led side will be eager to continue with the same momentum against LSG.
