Indian cricketer Sarfaraz Khan has gone viral after his recent transformation. The cricketer has gone viral on the back of his serious weight transformation. He has also relased a few pictures of his which have quickly gone viral.

Sarfaraz was on the India A tour to the UK where he scored crucial runs and fought for his place in the Test side. However, the Indian think tank decided to go ahead with Karun Nair and Sai Sudharsan.

Sudharsan was dropped after the first Test as the selectors persisted with Nair for three Test matches. However, the right-hander has not done justice to his selection so far, scoring just 131 runs from the first three Tests. He has batted in every innings and has averaged just 21.83.

KP Asks Shaw To Take Inspiration From Sarfaraz

Meanwhile, Sarfaraz Khan has lost a few kilos after he was sent back as the India A series ended. He used the time by hitting the gym and shedding himself off some extra kilos. He now looks a lot fitter and meaner. Cricket fans have praised his hard work.

Citing him as an example of hard work, former England skipper Kevin Pietersen has taken a dig at Prithvi Shaw, who is currently out of the Indian team. He has asked Shaw to take some inspiration from Sarfarz and work on his fitness as well. The 25-year-old has been criticised for being unfit and not following a fitness routine. In fact, his fitness and fielding standards are among reasons why he has been kept out of the team.

"Outstanding effort, young man! Huge congrats, and I’m sure it’s going to lead to better and more consistent performances on the field. I love the time you’ve spent reorganising your priorities! Can someone show Prithvi this, please? It can be done! Strong body, strong mind," Pietersen posted on X.

Shaw Keen To Turn Around His Fitness

Recently Shaw also promised of working on his fitness and getting back to where he was around in 2021.

"It’s raining these days, so I basically train indoors, where I bat for 1 to 1.5 hours, and it also includes the usual drills,"  "A little more time and I will be of the same size as I was in 2018. You can compare a photo from that year and look at the difference” Shaw said.
