Chennai Super Kings (CSK) head coach Stephen Fleming is looking to draw inspiration from Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), aiming to make a comeback in the season.
CSK has two wins from eight games and needs to win their remaining six league games to give themselves a chance to qualify for the playoffs. They next take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Chepauk on Friday, April 25, where they have an unbeaten record against them.
SRH and CSK are the bottom two teams on the IPL 2025 points table. Hyderabad is placed ninth, while Chennai is tenth on the log. GT, DC, and RCB are the top three teams with 12 points each. MI, PBKS, and LSG are on 10 points each.

CSK coach Stephen Fleming is still hopeful of making a turnaround, seeking inspiration from RCB's campaign last season. Bengaluru won six on the trot in 2024 to make the playoffs, and Fleming said that CSK is also looking to do the same.
"We're still hopeful of winning 6 out of 6, and some will giggle at that, but RCB set a blueprint for that the year before. So while there's still a chance, we have one eye on making sure that we think the best players for this game coming up will play, but we're also aware that if it doesn't work out, that we've got to make the most of what has been a poor season" said Fleming.
"And the work we did a couple of times, we were in this position in the past set us up to win the title the following year. So we're certainly aware of what needs to be done and how we can go about it," he further added.

We Will Make Sure There Is No Stone Left Unturned: CSK Head Coach Stephen Fleming
Fleming asserted that there will not be a game or opportunity wasted in the next few weeks as CSK aims to make the playoffs. The franchise won five IPL titles, with their most recent wins coming in 2021 and 2023.
"And when that time comes, we will make sure there is no stone left unturned to get things right. There won't be a wasted game or an opportunity in the next few weeks, and the players know that as well. And that creates opportunity and creates a bit of competition within. We won't let any time go to waste," concluded Fleming.
