Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian skipper, has finally broken his silence on the Pahalgam terror attack. He has criticized the brutal attack and has stood by BCCI's decision to end all cricketing ties with Pakistan.

The entire country is moved by the recent series of events that unfolded in Kashmir's Pahalgam. The Indian government has warned the Pakistani government against this attack and said that they will have to bear the consequences.

After the attack, the BCCI has also taken a few steps to tighten its relations with the Pakistan Cricket Board. One of the steps they have taken is that they have requested the ICC to not keep India and Pakistan in the same group in ICC events.

Previously, India and Pakistan were kept in the same group for U-19, ACC, and ICC events. They were in the same group in the T20 World Cup 2024 and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 as well. Sunil Gavaskar, the former India skipper has condemned the attacks as well.

Post the terror attacks, BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla reinforced that India will not play any bilateral cricket against Pakistan in the aftermath of the incident.

"We are with the victims and we condemn it. Whatever our government will say, we will do. We don't play with Pakistan in bilateral series because of the government stand. And we will not play with Pakistan in bilaterals going forward. But when it comes to ICC event we play due to ICC engagement. ICC is also aware whatever is happening they will to it (sic)," he told Sports Tak.
