Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill has been penalized for a slow over-rate offense during their match against Delhi Capitals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This was the first offense of the season for Shubman Gill and the Gujarat Titans.
Under Article 2.2, he was fined a substantial amount of ₹12 lakh for this infraction. In addition to this, Shubman Gill had a disappointing performance with the bat, scoring only 7 runs before being run out by Delhi Capitals.
